About this role:
Acceso’s team is growing quickly, and we are hiring a Recruitment Associate to attract, inspire, and align top talent with our mission and values. We are looking for someone with a dual passion for systems and people practices who can deliver and maintain high-quality candidate experiences and evaluation standards as our recruitment function scales.

Key responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Outreach: Support the development of Acceso’s sourcing and outreach strategy to build a long-term candidate pipeline and fill high-priority open roles. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the sourcing plans for your open requisitions. Activities include:
- Prospecting on LinkedIn
- Building a database of relevant sources & job posting channels
- Enabling Acceso staff to build and refer their professional networks
- Developing partnerships with local universities and alumni networks
- Attending relevant career events
- Hiring Manager Partnership: Partner with hiring managers to design and execute effective interview plans, develop their hiring abilities, and advise on hiring decisions and best practices.
- Candidate Evaluation: You will conduct the early stages of candidate evaluation like application review and first-round interviews, and you will provide guidance to hiring managers on candidate evaluation best practices throughout the remainder of the interview process.
- Candidate Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service to candidates and ensure that all applicants experience hiring processes that are efficient, equitable, and reflect Acceso’s values. You will serve as the primary contact for candidates throughout their experience with Acceso, and you will be responsible for keeping them informed, engaged, and moving quickly through their interview processes.
- Recruitment Systems: You will play a key role in improving the efficiency of current recruitment systems and processes. Projects will include:
- Diagnose inefficiencies within current hiring process and implement priority improvements.
- Support implementation of Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Improve data quality and recruitment reporting and analysis practices.
- Recruitment Projects & Programs Support: You will support the execution of priority recruitment programs and initiatives (examples below), and as you grow in your role, you will take on increased responsibilities in program strategy:
- Referral Program
- Fellowship Program
- Employer Branding Initiative
- Hiring Manager Training Program
- HR Team Support: We are a small team that values collaboration! As a member of our global Human Resources team, you will occasionally consult and contribute to other HR processes and projects in service of our broader team’s objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of full-lifecycle recruitment experience. In-house recruitment experience preferred, however candidates with recruitment agency experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to attract, inspire, and align candidates with Acceso’s mission and values.
- Business acumen to effectively represent the work of hiring teams across the organization.
- Fluency in structured and unbiased hiring best practices.
- Demonstrated aptitude for customer service and relationship management.
- Systems and data savvy, experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and expertise in core recruitment KPIs.
- Detail-orientation and ability to maintain high quality and accuracy at scale.
- Knowledge of local hiring regulations across LATAM.
- Project & program management expertise.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing demands.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action.
- Language skills: Professional fluency in Spanish and English required. French or Haitian Creole a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing and leading trainings for hiring managers.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter tools.
